Christmas Present

Twas a bloody big drama making everyone get out of bed this morning. I have such an enthusiastic household... I got all kinds of lovely material possessions, including $800 and The Mighty Boosh live show DVD :) Also, and possibly most importantly, I got a digital SLR for Christmas a few days early. Canon EOS 1000D. Yummy. I've been taking pointless nature-type shots, portraits of my cat (my dog wasn't terribly cooperative) as well as taking full advantage of the self-timer.
